By Andrew J Offutt

I bought this book by Andrew J Offutt, third hand at the local Goodwill shop. I also bought some glasses for a bottle of rum that’s already 2/3rds gone (why wait?)

In 1978 Conan and the Sorcerer cost $1.95. I paid 99 cents for it in 2019, ‘saving’ myself $3.74 in 1978 money and all I had to do was wait 41 years for it. I probably don’t have to tell you what a great deal that is. Anyway, I am not an expert in book math due to a lack of book learning.

I haven’t finished it yet, so you might be thinking this review is a bit premature, but again (why wait?) Besides I have looked at all the pictures, I mean illustrations by MAROTO, and let me tell you they are action packed and full of muscle bound men, and large breasted she-warriors. Need I say more? Anyway, I read the first chapter and there is some action brewing among some thieves, and our hero Conan has overheard some of it. And, of course, Conan who is a Cimmerian, believes in Krom, and is an all around bad-ass. I may finish it some day, loved it, 5 stars!
